PLAN B

This build was 2 parts 1 i have a truck I made to pretty to wheel so I'm building an ugly one I can actually enjoy. And 2. My cousin has been trying to join us for blazer bash but his truck wont be ready so we are surprising him with this one
So my buddy is buttoning up a couple little items on pb that i just dont have time to do. He found the shake i was asking about. Apparently my fan clutch is seized. It also shook my waterpump until that broke and is now leaking. Lucky for me i have so many upgraded fan clutches and fans laying around, i just dropped off many options for him to pick from. Definitely sticking with a brand new hayden sever duty fan clutch and i think we are going with a 6 blade fan vs the lopsided 5 blade.

Good news , the tow rig passed inspections today :) slap some tires on it and its good to go

But weren't the extra fans for Nightmare?
Which isn't it V belt, not serpentine?
I'm just trying to remind you of the reverse rotation...

Both trucks are v-belt. its an 88 but one of the ones right before they switched them.

I also noticed the big 6 blade 454 with A/C fan and the severe duty fan clutch seems to really impact cooling on this rig. it warmed up to a little over 200 and would cool back down to 190 (fan and fan clutch working as designed). even with the seized fan clutch and the 5 blade (slightly smaller fan) it would hit 210 and just stay there . no matter outside temps or how i was driving.

Dang... turns out my truck is a couple inches wider than the trailer i have access to. :( i really dont want to swap tires just to trailer it.

Just have to swap the fronts though right?
I didnt measure the rear but i bet you are right... and @72gmck5 made a good point, i could likely air down and just squeeze it on there....

I have access to a ton of tiny wheels and tires that would fit. I just didnt want to muscle around the 40s if i didn't absolutely have to.

I think the big issue im hitting is the d60 with 2" spacers on each side. I'll need to make sure i have some really skinny tires or wheels with a similar offset to the h2 wheels with an 11" or skinnier tire...

Track should be narrower in the rear. I’m in a similar situation with 1.5” spacers and I’m able to run stock 16.5” steel wheels. Make sure you retorque those spacers.

Airing down will make the tire wider air it all the way up
It will make it soft so the sidewalls will squish.... who cares if the footprint hangs over the trailer... im worried about squeezing through the railing on the sides

Yep squish and rip. Seen it happen. Probably just best to change tires. But I'm still gonna say air em up. It's worked better for me

Think ill just drive it amd tow down the new suburban... just for fun ;)

Yeah i think ill be sucking it up and pulling tires.
Unless..... i can find one of these.
