I'm going to go up as far as I can keeping the doors and hopefully having the windows work even if it's not the entire way down. I need to pop a panel and look at what I have to work withHow far up you boat siding it ?

The window regulator goes almost to the bottom of the door. So to get full window travel, you will basically cut it just above the sill plate.
I'd pull the door panel and cut the door then cut to match.
I have a couple ideas rolling around in my head to get the rocker higher while still maintaining full window operation
Or you could get creative with the window. Make one that snaps in, or zippers in or ? so made out the same stuff as a soft top.
So what affordable plasma cutters would you guys recommend? I think it would be a good idea to have that before boatsiding
You need this. It will make quick work of any double or triple wall you run into.

I was actually thinking a 7" grinder with a cutoff would be nice but I wasn't sure how it would fit in some areas. Pretty sure I saw an episode of Hot Rod Garage or something on You Tube where they shortened a frame using one of those gas chop saws. LOLActually a 5" or 7" disk worked best for me when I cut my rockers out for sliders.

Thanks! It's been a blastI missed most of this build...just read all of it. I like it!
Cool that you get help from a bunch of CK5 guys! Great pics from Moab too!
