Have a trailer or flatbed truck nearby?
Clamp it to the side rail and fold it over the corner of the bed rail.
Sheet metal is pretty easy to do that way with a couple pieces of wood and hammers.

I need to find a way to do nice sheetmetal bends... any ideas? The one supply place open today doesn't do any bending

I just cut the metal down and inserted it inside the door and did some crappy welds to hold it in there.

I cant weld with this machine lol I need gas or an arc welder. I also think it needs a new tip because the wire kept getting stuck. Or pulsing when it came out.... hmmm better get this ironed out before I start important visible welds

Both doors are cut and capped. Boom one step done next step will be to install the doors on the truck and back one side off at a time. I may install arust free fender first so I have good metal to cut and weld to.

Still trying to figure out this welder... I found it was running a 0.8 tip and 030 wire... the tip was nasty so I switched it out with a 030 tip. Seems to do better but now I'm tripping the breaker (it's only a 15 amp, no I didnt know that when I started using that particular outlet lol

The 15 amp breaker might be an issue.

Is your breaker in your shop? Might be a good idea to buy some Romex and put it on a bigger breaker.

I'm buying a new house, it has a shop and I'm having someone run new 120 and 220 I'll do it heavy duty with larger breakers so I dont have this issue again and I can weld right off the wall.

I have a 20amp plug in my garage I can hook to and I can actually get the truck in there so I should be ok...

@blazinzuk , this will make you happy. We ran a 100amp panel out in my new mini shop I have 6 dedicated 20amp 110 lines and 2 dedicated 220 lines run. Now I can weld right off an outlet with maximum power and zero extension cords and now you can build my cage

Moving in over the next couple weeks then I can start boatsiding pb

yeah its a weird tall, long, skinny garage... i didn't build it, it came with my new place. lucky for me its long enough both blazers will fit in there with room to spare

if you're planning on sealing the walls with rock or paneling I would easily double the amount of outlets you have installed.

Long and skinny like that. I would run a couple outlets on the ceiling and have reels mounted. In a shop that skinny floor space is precious

zero plans to finish the walls right now. it would be very easy to add more outlets. i can either tap into what i currently have and add on to those or i could run more wire off that panel. right now its 1 outlet per breaker which is overkill but i am really hoping to get back into welding and i know that will be nice for that.

are there any rules against hanging a hard top from the roof vs running a strap under the sides?

I have always stored mine using option A... I would like to use Option B... With option A you have a low hanging strap that would prevent me from driving under the top with an antenna on or might not clear a roll bar. I'd like to strap both hard tops to the ceiling in my new place and be able to drive the rigs in and out without risking hitting the straps.

There is always option C get rid off them and save a bunch of weight..... at least on the crawler. How to hold it up there on B would be the only issue I would think.
