This build was 2 parts 1 i have a truck I made to pretty to wheel so I'm building an ugly one I can actually enjoy.
And 2. My cousin has been trying to join us for blazer bash but his truck wont be ready so we are surprising him with this one
far I am in Ogden but road trip no big deal. Would have to take the Burb and the trailer but it gets 10 mpg.
Next question... for guys that have to make massive cuts do you just ditch the inner fenders up front? I could see rubbing the front part of the wheel wells.
I did, not much left after you trim for 40's anyway.
I kept mine and it rubs but they are smooth under there. Tires rub my steering box too.
are you running wheel spacers?
I have 2" spacers on mine, i wonder if that will help
Swapped fenders so ill have something solid to mount to. I also started some trimming. Id like to get the doors on tomorrow and mark my cuts and order my metal. Bb18 here we come.
Do you guys leave some of this or remove the whole thing? I think ill try to leave whats left to keep crap off the engine

I usually remove everything. I also don't know exactly what part your talking about but it's likely I usually remove it.

sorry i was talking about the wheel wells.. i cut out where it was rusted through just below the bolts. i have my arb mounted on the wheel well so i want to keep the top half if i can, and i imagine it will keep crap of the engine

Too many variables with tire size, axle location, bump specs, etc to say for sure. I wouldn’t worry about it too much....

cool, yes EVENTUALLY i plan to narrow this thing but not this year. i bet not having inner fenders probably helps things run cooler also. (not that that has been an issue on this one yet) I know i will eventually cut a ton more. once i find a cheap set of 40's i'll trim until they fit 
On this truck, it's a different mindset if it's in your way ditch it, cut it, rebuild it, make it work. Lots of different ways to do it.
I actually love that. Last night while a was taking things off something was stuck, rather than mess with it i just broke it off. Much easier. On the silver truck that would kill me
