PLAN B

This build was 2 parts 1 i have a truck I made to pretty to wheel so I'm building an ugly one I can actually enjoy. And 2. My cousin has been trying to join us for blazer bash but his truck wont be ready so we are surprising him with this one
It was a 02 so the bad trans year, oil leak was rather bad thats what killed the already twice replaced belt, car had like 200k or so.

Trans lasted like 60k longer then the known to.

Better pics of the cut lines... id like the slider in thes week then supports then patching all yhe holes in the floor lol wow this thing is rotten....

There is a reason i dont feel bad hacking this thing up.... eventually it will all be replaced eith new sheetmetal and tubes

I mean if i let it go we could call it weight reduction right??
Its kinda neat to know my carpet is now structural vs just cosmetic ;)

I really didnt want to yank out the interior but i think i probably should and just do a patch here and there to ensure i dont fall through the floor....

I would get the sliders done. And see where your at with it. If you can get by for a while I would consider waiting till you can properly patch it.

Then you don't end up patching patches with patches

Anybody have a lead on a dirt cheap running 454 for a last minute budget build for another ck5'r ? (Not for me but I'll definitely be working on it)

opinions please....
once this is all wrapped up i want to spray paint it one color so it matches and looks less like the 4 different trucks i have patched together. what are your thoughts on:
1.Neon/Safety/lime green
2.snow camo
3.white
4.other (go on...)

Just use a readily available paint and color...

Don't want to be hunting down a can or two for touch up when you violate some rocks...
