Most of the steering and driveline angles get troublesome after 4". Thats when guys have $1k front drivelines, u joint clearance issues, arched springs hitting the drag links

I had no idea that installing a new windshield gasket was so hard. The glass company was booked a week out, then showed up with one guy who attempted to install the windshield then gave up and had to reschedule when he could have two guys. That puts me another week out on having this wrapped up

If i break it I have to pay for a new windshield and the warranty is out the window, if they break it or successfully install it its covered and I get to keep the warranty.

Then don’t break it! If I can pull one at the junkyard and reinstall at home, you should be good. I can bend anything...

I’m going to call that a skill fail. I know some aftermarket gaskets are sub par quality and hard but Safelite sent one guy that was barely over 5’ to work on my Blazer. He climbed all over it like a spider monkey and had it installed in 30 min.

Some guys got it, some don’t. I don’t. Neither do the safelite guys here in vegas. Found a small 2 guy shop that nailed it in 20 min...

Yeah i bet the gasket isn't the best lol i got it from lmc and their stuff is really hit or miss. Id order a different one if i knew what brand was "the best".

Precision. I'd get a new Lockstrip too. Most of the C10 guys use these ones as they are better quality than the LMC stuff.

I remember your ordeal.
Yeah never had a problem by myself but with 2 people it's a 10 minutes job.
