A couple drywall screws should hold that lawn chair on there well enough. Then you could take another passenger wheeling.

It's a portable deck, you need a grill up there too.

Yes I meant frame the wood with angle iron like you would a picture frame.
I like it! But I have to ask how you have it anchored down. did you take frame flex into consideratrion?
I hate to say this now that I may be too late but deck style wood screws probably are not going to hold up unless you used a LOT of them.

I have it bolted to the middle frame (body) mounts, the rear of the frame, and posts bolted to the frame by the front spring hangers.
I used a bunch of deck screws, and nails, a bunch
It only needs to last till sometime this summer, I'm not worried about it

It looks like you have a nice build going on! Keep up the good work! I really like the fact that you took the time to strip and prep the frame. I wish I had that kind of time and money.

Like I said before this bed is only temporary, just good enough so I can drive it on the street 
that being said I'm not really that worried about it, it's a good 6" of space.
