Project "RESPAWN" - 1972 K5 Blazer

Cool stuff here!
Just going to leave this here for you Steve. Lokar trans mounted shifter with a 241 shifter next to it. I modded a 205 shifter to make it look right.

Good call AJ. I remember seeing yours or one similar before but I couldn't remember where. I think that looks really slick. I'd like to do the same.

More detail?

That looks great, yes more detail.

See posts #404, 520, and 554 of my build.

For the bezel, I used the rectangular floor ring from Lokar as the starting point for dimensions and then integrated the xfer case. Boots are for the rectangular tranny ring and the xfer case is actually for the Lokar hand brake.

Awesome!

Picked up a rust free door from a 72 pickup today along with a reinforcement plate from a rusty Blazer door. My current drivers door is a crappy repop so was nice to find an original but will have to fill the trim and mirror holes and cut the frame.

Didn't like the wood...

I found a Hugger orange CST glove box door with the emblem and the stopper that I needed, from there I found a dark blue door and drilled the emblem holes in the factory location using a template from the orange door and installed the emblem on the blue door, turned out perfect. Because my dash is the original paint it was a perfect match.
