Project "RESPAWN" - 1972 K5 Blazer

Cool stuff here!
I was also able to pick up some OEM trim rings that were in pretty decent shape.

Looking good! :k5:

I forgot how terrible it looked when we picked it up.

I have a rear seat from a 70 Blazer and it has four legs with the two center legs closer together which is consistent with 69 and 70 model years. Looks like 1971 has four legs that are the same width apart. So in 1972 it looks like they started making rear seats with only two rear legs?

Anyone have a 72 with only two legs, do the seat belts bolt to the floor?

So, this is what a 1971 rear seat looks like and most of 72 with the center legs spaced evenly unlike the 69 and 71.

How do they compare for the front legs / mounts?

I don’t think Blazers ever came with only two rear legs ( my 72 has 4) and usually if the seat is from a different application the tubular front legs and brackets to hold it to the floor are substantially different. Armrests sometimes look odd and can be a giveaway too.
