I've always done the razor knife X till it's thru, than trim as needed...
I've never used glue... door trim, seat mounts, shifter rings, etc hold it fine usually in my experiences..
to install the carpet?
I'd do it all at once...

trimming the sides to fit will help in taking up some of the extra hump material.. work it out from the middle to the sides...


I used 2 dynamat bulk packs doing my firewall and cab floor. I have to get another to do my doors still. I'd say for you 3 to do the whole front cab area including the doors and probably at least 4 to do the bed area, bed sides, and tailgate. That's not cheap... I recommend going on Amazon or eBay to find the best prices (literally almost half of what Eastwood charges)
