And, I don't know if you can see it in this picture, but my under dash light works! It takes so little to make me happy :haha:

NOW...just one more time to be sure...that's the original shifter "display" that came with the Blazer....but if I remember correctly, it still matches the NP203 with the MileMarker part time kit in it....as far as the Low and High positions?

4 Low
2 Low
Neutral
2 High
4 High

That's the one piece I wouldn't mind making a correct plate for...cause I forget stuff...
I would put something like 2 Hi U
"U" for unlocked "L" for locked hubs

well...I go in tomorrow morning to get my cuff rotated...I mean my rotator cuff repair...
too bad there isn't a repair sleeve I could just pick up at NAPA...

crap this isn't fun.

got a regional block to prevent excruciating pain the first 18-24 hours

cant feel anything...it also paralyses the right diaphragm so breathing is a little harder

will be glad when feeling comes back to hand

Well thats nice then i guess.

the block allowed me to go home without staying for morphine drip pain management for 24 hours

i hate the hospital bed...i am claustrophobic and go wacko when i am restrained or confined

i hope this was worth it because it was no fun at all...and the real test begins tomorrow...block should be worn off and physical therapy begins at 1:00 :doah:

will be great if i can hand sand again in a few months...get started on the top...

Good luck chief, I hope it heals really well for you, and that the pain is at least manageable!

thanks. it will wear off in the middle of the night...probably...we shall see what level it is then...i have a high pain tolerance cause i live with it already...but i have heard that this is on a different level

As we discussed before, it hurts but you have to start therapy as soon as doc suggests. but don't push your limits. Keep track of your pain limits and dont push it very far beyond that point. stop before it gets too bad.

Anti-inflam's are your friend and ICE ICE BABY.

Actually, I wonder, sanding may be good therapy. Check with your PT...:waytogo:

Hope you feel better soon. !!!!

Did he do a Bursectomy at the same time ?

No not sure but I think that is the tendon that goes across your shoulder front to back. When I had mine that was thickened so he reduced it. Wait let me look it up

Woot yes that is exactly what it is. What I just read says that the rotator cuff can get impinged under the acromion (tendon) so they, if i remember right, shave it down some to make more space for the rotator to move easier. They shave any scar tissue off of it.

The bursa is a spongy material that absorbs shock to the joints and is around all joints. Apparently he did not have to remove some bursa to make space which means, IMO, that it was not super swollen in there. That is good news because the less they cut the faster you will heal.

So enjoy your pain meds while they last...:haha:because you will back on the mend soon.

And like I said before ICE is your FRIEND

in the immobilizer 24/7 until week 6

PT is going good, but I can't wait to get out of this sling...can't sleep with it on...will be week 8 or so before I can drive the Ranger which is manual...I can't make that work because the rental car is too expensive...rental car is about $250 per week...they went through the roof..

It may be time to sell the Ranger and buy a used SUV with an automatic transmission. I have my eye on a 2004 Volvo XC-90 ... any of you guys familliar with those?
