Stomis' 94 Street Truck - Snail Trail

Thanks guys.

I got the ECU all flashed for speed density and a baseline tune loaded in it. The tuner just needs to tweak the baseline out for my motor and I'll be good to fire tomorrow night.

Looks a lot better finished out with the convolute on it, nice work.

Ran it today after work. Good oil pressure no weird noises. Having fuel leak issues on the rail which delayed me from getting anywhere with tuning it. Im gonna pick up some new o-rings at the parts store and go from there.

Wow that turned out fantastic! massive change from the previous posts. This is going to be bad!

So I could not get those fuel rails to seal up. I said **** it and bought a pair of FAST rails. Then I found out this intake wasnt made for early tall LS1 injectors so I wound up having to make an adapter for their hold downs anyway. Thank god that works and Ive got no more fuel leaks now.

Im still bleeding pressure back but I suspect its from accidentally hooking the regulator up backwards. I probably tore the diaphragm so I need to replace that. So then I fired it up and it still ran bad and backfired. I started pulling plugs and found 2 fowled. Replaced all the plugs with a new set, fired up, same deal, 2 fowled plugs. So I started thinking I had a couple bad coils, but upon reading discovered theyre basically bullet proof on these motors. Then I thought maybe Ive got a coil plug swapped by accident but its not possible. Then it hit me. I pulled the coil harness off and discovered it was routed backwards...

Flipped it around and the truck runs great. Time to get it tuned in now. What a nightmare but I guess its to be expected when things get so damn dragged out...

Spacers I made. Still have to snap a pic with the new rails. Never cheap out on stuff like that...

Buttoned up a couple loose ends on this thing. Threw the hood back on a few days ago. Made some fuse panel brackets and got the ecu mounted plus the old ecu bulkhead hole covered. I also ran my fan wiring through the fender.

So close...

I was suppose to spend some time with Josh working on the tune Wed but it just wasnt happening with how slammed we are at work. Almost there though. Need to bleed the brakes and put the grille on. Probably pull it out of the garage tomorrow.

I beet he has the 88-up rear cab mount rust out problem .

the frame ear for the body mount rusts out and drops down the hole and looks like this .
