Got the oil pan out and changed to the holley. Super happy with the clearance I gained. Sump is over the collectors now!

Found some seriously bad news bears in the bottom of the old pan. After chewing Pauls ear off for a while Ive drawn the conclusion something self clearanced its self inside the motor. Its got to be the doubler roller on the timing cover. The motor makes no OMG something is wrong noises. I chose to button it up with the new pan, Im going to put fresh oil in it and take it for a 1 mile lap and drop the pan and see if theres anything new in the pan.
The odd part is Ive changed the oil twice and both times its been clean as anything, which is really making me think it happened in the timing cover and fell straight to the bottom of the pan. If I find more the timing cover will be coming off and along with all the caps to verify nothing catastrophic is taking place but I couldnt imagine that w/o some sort of knock...
I also threw my alternator only bracket on, really nice piece.
