no progress,truck sits out in the snow now,couldn´t get it inside before the winter came over night.got about 5 inches of snow right now.

Yes, snow has a way of stopping projects. As I get older I often wonder how nice it would be to live in a place of mild climate where one could work outside all year long.

Approx how much lift do those front springs provide?
What is the final paint scheme for it?
....your Burb looks good.

I got about 6,5" of actual lift,measured from bottom of framerails to top of axletubes,compared to the very saggy original 2leaf springs,that includes my 1/2 inch thick relocation/angle plates,and the fact that the new shackles are 8" long.
I´m very happy with the outcome,didn´t think I would get that much lift.

paint will probably be swedish military green.

sorry,no pics of the rear yet,it´s buried under tons of snow right now.

well,we got a little rain the other day,so I thought I´d snap a few shots,the rear is noway near completion,but atleast you get an idea of how it´s going to look,the roof will be cut back as much forward as possible,and will retain the original barndoor frame,I´m thinking of doing the barndoors into an hatch,with one window instead of two.
