Swettysblazer's 1991 K5 Trazer: ONE TONS!

If they were here I'd buy them simply to turn a profit. I don't even own a fullsize truck currently.

I am going to have him send me some pictures before I take a ride I think.

Also ...make sure its a srw GM 60, there were D61's and also dodge 60's look very similar, internal hub dodge 60's are fine (still wouldn't pay the same as a GM though) but the external hub 60's are less desirable, there are easy ways to tell what it is. If you have any questions or want me to look at a pic or anything just call or text me (if you don't still have my number pm me) :waytogo:

Make sure it isn't a 94-01 Dodge CAD Axle. Junk.

If I found 60s for 500$ around here I would rent a storage shed just for them. Cheapest I have ever seen them go is a box set with rear and front for 1100$, which of course they wont split. $800 up usually, and SRW ones are harder to find. I would buy the DRW ones but its more money up front to run on my truck as I have no use for H1 wheels.

Down between the Shooting Range and the Pig Pen.

Yeah, I went and looked on the main page. I had NEVER noticed that before.

You've been Ferd bombed

Well, I got my axle dilemma worked out. I am going to keep the 3/4 ton's, and go from there.

So right now, my plans are to rebuild these axles and get them ready to swap in. I am also thinking of doing a shackle flip in the rear and a 52 swap up front. However, I want to still be able to drive this on the road. Am I heading down a road here that will prevent me from doing that?

Granted I've never done it but the resounding theme on the forum here seems to be that 52's on the front is great off road and not great on the road.

I would just go for some good lift springs.

You've seen how well my front springs work.

If you wanna save some cash, just order some straight from ALCAN like shady did.
Mine drives down the road perfectly fine, and I took the swaybar out.

And do a shackle flip with your stock 52s in the rear. I am amazed at how much the flip made my rear springs ride sooo much better. And flexy.
