Only concern with the Q is off-road. Some of those angles are an issue. And theres those two 11000’+ mountain passes to drive over.Be stubborn and keep it old school, sounds like a exspenive experiment.
I like to have one old guy around to tell us how to tune a quad. No joke Eh!
Never had a problem with my Q off road at the angles. The lack of the automated adjustment for altitude sucked though. I always bumped the timing at altitude and kicked up the idle speed to compensate at low speeds.Only concern with the Q is off-road. Some of those angles are an issue. When I switched to the Sniper, it said i was making 12” vac not 17” I initially had with the carb. Presumed it had to do with the throttle body
Went back to the carb, 12”. Pulled the intake and resealed. 14”

Long and short yeah. I have my suspicions.So once upon a time with this engine and the carb initially it had 17" vacuum but then lost it at some point when swapped to efi but you don't know when exactly or what you did to get the vacuum loss? Hmm
