The Jimmy build, beat and rebuild with very few updates.

Rear links are done and in. Aligning the rear end is a pain by myself. Still not sure it is correct.

Shop is cleaned up and ready for exhaust modifications. Actually just replacing everything. I have not done an exhaust from pre-bent tube. Always had an exhaust tube bender. So this should be interesting. Not having a band saw might suck also.
Done yet?

Use big band clamps with holes drilled a few inches apart to hold the tubing together so you can tack it straight and flushes

Channeling my dad for the last 3 days. Using his pipe vise to hold everything. So nice to be able to access a part from all sides. Unlike a vice on a bench.

Also using his old tube square circle alignment tool. if the side line up, it makes a perfectly square line around the tube. No smart comments on that. You know what I mean. Save grinding to get a square surface for butt welding. It is so old, look at the phone number.

I'll come help, but pretty sure you'll be in Moab on my next day off. Let me know what you need

I have to hitch and flaten out the crossover bend. Tie it to the left side tube. New mounts for the muffler because I am moving it a little, the the tail pipe the has 6 bends in it.

Hopefully it doesn't resonate. Not that I'll hear it over mine

I considered running it out the passenger side. But I figure I float the valves often enough, I should be able to hear it.
