The Purple Camaro

Zoom Zoom, way cool.
What gear are you in going thru the traps?

The question is can you maintain that consistency at 5 tracks in various conditions over 5 days?

Consistent is good. You’ll do good if you end up in a class where you set the dial in and have to stay close to it all week.

Great work for sure! Though we do need a “Grumpy Jenkins” in car video of you banging gears going down track sooner or later. Inquiring minds need to see it!

Depends on the classes. Some are for average, some are for set ET

I tried to mount the phone holder and was just not winning with that. I did get told it unloads the front end, with a rumors it picks the tires. I didnt see video

I did see a guy in a Coyote swapped Mustang fade in the side mirror. He was a damn bit surprised old crap could hold a few car lengths down the track. That was fun

…with a stoogie.

So how will the Camaro do in rally mode?
Not well lol

No I didn’t know that. I know they both run good though! About how much does the purple Camaro weigh now?
When we ran it on the scales years ago, our set weight was 3270

When I mathed it out adding for the full sized tank and exhaust, minus the weight box and stuff, I think it’s really close to that number still

You should have built a lighter transmission cross memeber.

Why is your 60 ft so much different? Did you spin?

And your 1/8" mile was .434 different, a completely different run.

But good MPH on both runs! Nice, especially for the altitude!
