I need to decide on an accent color. Like ORD's rigs with their color matched knuckles, steering links, crossmembers etc... The truck is gonna end up white, maybe a blue stripe like the oem paint job. Neither white or blue seem right for drivetrain/chassis parts though.

If its just for the undercarriage and driveline you could go with like a hammered grey maybe.

Any of the machine colors you see on lathes and mills and stuff. Makes for a hard industrial look.

Yeah someone says Lathes and Mills and I think of the old ones from the 50s and 60s that are still in use today and they LOVED green back then!

Actually yes. I personally think that would lookgood. And since oobviously everyone aassociates that color with machines, it's good. That color and that light tan color. Any of those colors are good.
I like black or rust.

It can be hard to find rust color in Nevada.
Down south anyway. I'm liking the gray idea, maybe a lighter, battleship kinda color. Hmmm

DAMMIT!! Dropped my heads off at a machine shop today and they're both cracked!! So my $300 cylinder heads just jumped to $600+... **** me.
Gonna get the block hot tanked and make sure it's ok, if not I'm scrapping all of it and buying a crate motor.

Thats not a bad kit at all but he is Fuel injected.
Scoggin Dickey did have a cheap vortec swap kit for the TBI but I cant find it anywhere on there site now.
Summit has the heads and the GM intake to use TBI on Vortec heads

Price is high but its a bolt on intake for TBIs. Just need to do the waterpump bypass hose and replumb a bit for moving the EGR.

I'm not using the TBI stuff, I was going to use the vortec fuel system.

Vortec fuel system? so you are changing over to MPI? Or are you talking just using the vortec heads and moving to carb?
He is planning on using the Vortec EFI system.

Yeah I know, but for the money its a good deal and you could sell the intake for 150-200 bucks easy
If I was to do that I'd put an MSD atomic efi on top of it.
