Leak repair, electrical work for fixing charging issue, new power sreering pump, new dizzy, aluminum valve covers...

Lots of parts collected that need installed...

Any body need a 4.10 10 bolt with a passenger reid knuckle and crossover steer arm?

I had an almost identical axle, to the Dana 44 flavor.

Man, I guess all the cool kids are doing it now.

Ended the night last night with the FiTech, dizzy, intake, and V/C's off, both serp brackets off, lots of wiring disconnected, radiator and fans out.

Spent a bit of time today cleaning up old gasket material and re-installing the intake. I took the wiz wheel to the contact points between the serp brackets and the block, heads, and intake, and then re-installed the brackets.

I took the old power steering pump down and warrantied it, and then put the new one on.

Tried installing the aluminum valve covers, but the bolts bottomed before the valve cover was tight, so no go on that. Then it started pouring rain, and dinner was ready...

I don't know if it is the cure, but I put anti-seize on the bolts and studs holding the serp brackets onto the block and heads.
Just a little on the pads too.

Throw some new plugs in since you have it that far apart.
I am going to.

Plugs, wires, 85501 Dizzy and MSD coil will all be new.

Plus a 250 amp inline fuse, power distribution block, 75 amp relay (for additional interior circuits), 2/0 battery cables, and several ground straps to finish out the electrical system...

I have a new throttle cable and TV cable as well,

Still haven't decided exactly how to remedy the fuel system (or even decided exactly what is wrong). I am going to reroute the lines for sure, but pushing the axle rearward 4 inches has removed some necessary space for a blazer tank.

I have considered a bed mounted fuel cell, but that has it's obvious limitations too...

Plus, having to have other folks do my welding means I have to be completely ready to roll in any direction I choose (i.e. new crossmembers or the like)...
