My thought is light connected in series would tell me that the circuit is completing itself. I am not sure that it is even receiving ground right now. Because it is the 90 model with ecu control, I think that I may have to ground the D terminal to complete the circuit. I am also looking at swapping in the complete TBI engine with the factory harness and ecu at a later date, so I am trying to get lockup without modifying the original internal trans wiring. I guess I can pull the pan again and take some pictures of wire routing. Maybe there is a simple change I can make to get me going, then change it back once the TBI and ecu go in...
