Picked up the cylinder heads.

.005" a piece removed.

Cool. What's the time table looking like?

I will work on it as often as possible.

That's all I have.

I guessing everything else on the engine was ok since nothing was said?

Filthy.

But ok.

Anything that is wrong was already planned on being replaced.

Going back to just how filthy everything was....

Yesterday I loaded all of the tin and the intake manifold into the daily and hauled it to work with me. I spent a good half an hour trying to de-goop this stuff. No Dice.

Hauled it all to the wash bays that we have for the concrete pumps, started pressure washing this stuff.

(These pressure washers are no joke, we hook them up to boom pipes that have set up full of concrete and they have been known to burst the pipes wide open.)

Another half an hour, and soaked head to toe from all of the backsplash, and these parts still aren't clean.

I'll get a pic later.

Post solvent tank and post pressure washer...

Been tbinking paint schemes for the TBI engine. One option is block and heads orange, tin black, intake aluminun.

Or everything orange except the intake.

Or valve covers black, intake aluminum, and everything else orange.

Or???

Well, I'm fairly deadset on the block and heads being orange. Just trying to figure out the rest. My serp belt brackets are grey, the air cleaner housing will be black.

what valve covers are you running? What intake manifold? To me that dictates the color or paint at all.
