Also, front wheel bearings on both sides have some slop. I'll be looking into that as well.

On a funny note, this damn q-jet won't even run well enough to turn the bald rollers into smoke...
 
I hate to jinx it, but that may be too many holes in cold weather....
I hope not...
 
T-stat is cheap and easy. Not worried if I need a new one.

The current one spikes the gauge before it opens and then runs perfect until I shut it off again.
 
I have had some do that as well, so I know what you are up to.
I found out about the Felpro reusable T-stat gasket a couple of years ago. I think that it's worth it. I opened my housing a few times trying things.
