Plan is to find/modify hubs on the 60, then gut the 14 for parts.

My current 14 already has shock mounts modified, and the new 14 is a cab and chassis model anyway

The deal was 1200 for the pair...

I walked up expecting a SRW set...

Immediately seeing the dually hubs, I explained that I was under the impression from his ad that they were from a single wheel truck and said sorry but I have to pass, 1200 was just too much for a dually set...


He started with the make me an offer thing...


I delayed for a few minutes, chatting him up for a minute, then finally said, look, these axles aren't what I really need, and I'm not trying to insult you, but I'm looking at 700 to walk away with these...
(Low, hoping for the best on my end)


After some countering, and my repeated rejections of his offers, 1100, 1050, 1000, nope.

I said 800.

He said that he had a standing offer for 8 on any d60 he came across from another guy. He wasn't going to go less than a grand for the pair...
