Had to work today.

So my list of accomplishments is smaller than I would have liked, but I finalized the tank mounting, figured out the skid mounting also which required some 1.75" spacers on the forward mounts, cut the access hole is the bed and figured out how I'm going to reattach the now removable panel.

Starting to feel the crunch of Blazer Bash...

Need to finish this and engine swap a Jeep that resides in the driveway before September 6...

Welded incorrectly, the guard is supposed to be on the bottom....

My guess is someone forgot that 14 bolt pinion assemblies only bolt in one way, therefore the two pieces in the guard have to be welded together accordingly.

So I did more than that yesterday...

Painted all the new crossmembers and such for the tank.

Relocated the rear frame mount for the brake line, as it was in the way of the gas tank. Bent up new rear hard line on the frame from about the t-case back to facilitate the bracket relocation. Made one new axle hardline because I wasn't ever satisfied with the first one that I made years ago. Found out that I am missing the 3/16ths die in my flaring kit...

Installed the pump in the sender and then the sender into the tank. Finished up the filler neck adjustments and cut the hoses to length.

I need to run to get hardware for my diff cover and that can go back on and then the new tank will be ready to go in for the last time.

Have a few more wires to hook up and run, every fluid in the truck needs filled, I'll jumper the current fuel pump and drain the old tanks into the new tank and pull those... and a bunch of other stuff...

Sad thing is they may have done an entire batch that way.
