I love that both of your trucks are in the "do as they are told" status. It's something that I strive to have some day.
How hard was it to install that AA adapter for your transmission to transfer case. About to order the kit and it was stating you had get new input and bearings. Or citing the tail shaft.
I believe I was looking under the options tab. https://www.advanceadapters.com/pro...bolt-pattern-transfer-case-adapter-replth400/ I have the same truck as you except I have the 454 and sm465. About the place the motor and all in and wanted to be sure this is the kit I neededSorry for the late reply to this, but the AA adapter was a breeze to install. Literally all it really is, is a spacer between the tranny and t-case, nothing special there. I'm not sure where you're reading that. Are you installing on an NV4500 to go to a long input round pattern NP205?

I was actually on Facebook today and I saw the picture of the crew cab rescuing your daily driver. I have to say after following this building thread, the SAS build, and your K5 build I was EXTREMELY disappointed by your daily driver. Yes I saw all your excuses, but you can do better. Which I think you know and that's why you didn't post that picture here on CK5.....
But I'm glad I saw the FB post so I could come here and give you a bunch of crap.....![]()

. And you better believe I drove it to work this morning, haha
For both of you. This is the only thing I can come up with.....For both of you.
I actually did think you were driving the SAS rig.

When I was in the middle east I had plenty of cars that got great mileage, I chose to run my Chevy conversion van, I was even almost done with the 4x4 conversion so it would be the only vehicle I needed. But there distances are short and parking wasn't an issue. If it were me, I'd rather spend the extra $20 a week to drive the SAS'd BBC suburban.
There are times I don't drive the crew cab because parking will be a pain.
