Got my CB installed, then remembered that I broke the antenna last year. 
Got a new one and we're ready to go.
It looks like my leaking rear diff is indeed the pinion seal. It's not bad enough to care... except it is the ONLY thing that leaks on the entire truck. grrrr. It'll have to wait until after BB though.
Also, turns out you can revote every day on the calendar vote, so please revote! Pretend it's Chicago, vote early and often!

After action report:
Broke my CB antenna... again. dammit! Time to find a new place to mount it, and invest in a spring! Also, I think I cooked the transmission a bit. It still shifts into every gear, but it does it kinda slowly now, and takes a few seconds to go into reverse occasionally. I'll limp it along until next year sometime then decide what I want to do with it, rebuild or replace.
Last weekend the gf and decided to do a little exploring up East canyon. We found some pretty tight side-by-side sized trails to explore so we went for it. It was dark, raining and cold, but still a ton of fun.
Didn't really get many pics (that I can share
), but we had a good time.
Oh, and on how tight the trails were...

I had a beater jeep Cherokee when I used to live over in Tooele and Stockton. I'd jam that thing down every atv trail I could find over on that side of the Oquirrhs but I didn't care about the body much either. There were some cool places to go play around up on the south end of that range but that was like 9-10 yrs ago.
yeah, I used to wheel my first blazer in the same area... closer to 20 years ago now. It was a beater too, so I beat it. 
I'm generally against additives, but get some Lucas transmission fix. It helps
Thanks, I'll try that. It's already in a position where I'll need to do something, so something that might help it last a little longer works for me.

it is yellow, so the buttered part, it sounds like popcorn when it wheels cuz of all the poping and cracking
