Wait a sec.. I thought it was like DEER, not DEERS.. or wait. whatt...ss.hit..

anti spatter isn't a cure, and if you use too much you can end up with porosity in your welds. For spatter clean up I use an old file with a couple of edges ground onto the end and the side.

We got a floater! Lol I got two mounted up and aired up.. Not without some of the normal bs..
One of the wheels leaks at one beadlock bolt. And I somehow ended up with two different styles of rings.

The ring on the right is the preferred style, I like that the bolts are protected, the other style had the bolt holes milled at an inward angle, I can only guess to help with the warping that happens when you tighten them down.

And last but not least, I ruined the drill bit on my pOS freaking drill press, long story short, I couldn't turn the head of the mill so I took the rear axle flanges home to drill and mine is not slow enough at 760rpm..

Hahahaha pristine! I have been shooting to keep this as tall or lower than a stock blazer, think big rally car.
If I have to trim them to keep my tires alive I will. At some point I'll get some fiberglass.

Oh I got ya.
Not sure about you dune-dudes...:screwy:

Working on trimming mine right now, definitely don't want tire humpage or roached out fenders. I will get some pictures in my thread soon.

For that thinner bead lock ring you'd probably be better off with Button Head cap screws...

I've always preferred a hex head over buttons, on my 1 car I'd have issues getting hex heads out after a couple of wet races. I could only imagine the suffering if they were button heads.

Kmc's look tits bango

Worst case if I cannot find the rings I want I'll run the thinner locks up front, there is less side loading up there anyway, camber helps that..
