Felpro 1133 steel ship gaskets.. copper coated on both sides.. I’m gonna leak it down and see if it’s a head gasket or if I got lucky and it’s just an intake gasket
looks like your problem is you used a Ford head gasket
Congrats on the move but boo on the head gasket.
Personally I don’t like mls gaskets. The head and deck surface need to be damn near mirror perfect to be trustworthy. I’ve used the good ‘ol tried and true permatorque blue on every engine i’ve built and never had an issue.
Held together with tape this is my mock-up.. fits pretty dang good!!
Duct tape ‘n bailing wire. Works every time.
No I said my buddy would mill the heads if it needed it.
But yes if he does I will give him the intake.

Actually not fixed but we’ll on the path to be driveable in a real world scenario!!
Exhaust is on temporarily, got lucky, two straight sections and mufflers on the ends for now, I’ll exit over the frame like @secutright did on both sides.
So today I gotta bolt check some stuff and change the oil, put a wrench on the intake bolts just to see if they’re loose. And a couple other minor things before loading her on the trailer.

that'd be way easy glasswork to get that hood line perfect....

just thicken it up in the front and back a bit.. couple layers of mat, or even just a bit of dynaglass, shape, taper it over to the curve, prime, rattle can, send it......
I am gonna do that!! I actually found a crack on the inside to I need to repair that anyway!
just make sure you get a nice 24 -36 grind past where you're gonna glass.. hit me up if ya need.....
