A slow Blazer would be more fun in the dunes, than a 2wd in the rocks........

Touche'

.....well how big are these rocks you speak of? cause if your talking smooth river rocks scattered across dune whoops....2 wheel driver blazer flies right over the top of rocks:whistle::pimp:

A good shifting 205 twin sticked is fun in the dunes. Cause you can switch back and forth very easy

Dave uses his so he can sink the maiden down in the sand far enough for Norm to get out of the passenger seat and not have to have an 80+ year old man jump out of big truck...

Winning use of twin stick IMO :thumb:

Thought i had a pic but i cant find one.

Why are we talking about transfer cases in 2wd thread?

More go fast things please.

No, they're getting cut. I'll get some good pictures tonight, last night I was busy mocking up the front end to take any. You know how it goes.
So far I arrive at a much lower ride height. 15 degrees of negative (top joint back) caster and 4 degrees of negative camber.

Because I get so many questions about this, here is what the finished product should look like.

I already cut my beams up so all that's left is the bolts from the radius arm out, I already set the ride height and camber.

Also note that my passenger beam is in front of the driver side, this clears space for the swinger so the steering box does not have to move.

Why even start with stock beams? Just for the outlers?

Because they're serviceable, have large bearings compared to the iron stuff and batter brakes, there are plenty of alternatives now but they're expensive, consider I am less than 900$ into this complete setup where a hub spindle combo would be close to 2k..m

Honestly In hind sight if I knew this was the route I might have tried to use a stock solid d44 because the knuckles are cast and have bigger brakes then these in their 8 lug form. O well I'm glad Im going this way it looks promising.

I like it. I really don't know much about beams, was just curious on your reasoning.
