Think I might mount the resivoir here.. Keeps it in the clean air.. What'd y'all think?!

Will it contact in articulation? I know your not going to flex it out but everyone knows you will see some flex.

Nope the cantilever itself is fixed, the rod to the axle can twist up, I found zero evidence that it will contact. I posted pics earlier twisted up. I'll check it again and get pics with this installed. And if anyone near me has an rti ramp I'll drive this sumbitch as far up the ramp it will go.. Just because..

I don't think I would want the reservoir somewhere that flexes the hose that much every time you hit a bump. Normally with the reseervoir fixed and the top of the shock on the frame end the hose doesn't see much flex during cycling.

I had the same thought ^

I feel like you would end up with leaks where the fittings crimp on the hose quickly.

With my small experience with coilovers I would agree with the other two. I would make that mount in a stationary position

I was kidding.. lol it wont fit anyway the tire will hit.

Thats funny. I thought you were kidding when I read the initial post but then the follow up post made me think you were serious. It's hard to read someone through text.

Carry on. :waytogo:

This is the first time I have ever seen that tire tread design. The sidewall said they are calling that a mud terrain????!!!!! What terrain are they specifically designed for? Looks more modeled after a short course tire than anything. Is that what this will be for?

Correct it is a short course tire, the tread is very soft. I'll be using it out in the desert. They work pretty well and can be grooved, which I may do depending on how they perform.

Are they DOT approved or an offroad only competition type tire?

The tire and wheels are non Dot approved. And to be honest probally won't see much in the way of street.. There is enough trail around me that I could get to JV almost exclusively on dirt. And JV along with Joshua tree are my favorite places to wheel. Lots of sand and whoops.
Now I will probally buff off the labels that say non dot.. Just in case I was to get stopped. The next set will probally be a general grabber red label or similar but dot approved.

If you get pulled over by a commercial officer consider yourself screwed.. They will write you up for every single violation to the point it might cost you more to put it back on the road than it's worth it.

As long as theyre spinning they wont be able to tell the difference. Someones really got to know there shizz to be able to spot those. If you had drag slicks and skinnies in the front i think thats much more obvious.

I agree, I don't live in an area where there is a lot of stop and go, and there is a ton of off-road vehicles so much less to worry about cops being d!cks about this.

exactly. I see tons of people riding around sketchy stuff and they never get pulled over. Hell beadlocks are for the most part illegal here and ive never seen someone get blurped for it. I honestly think the training the cops receive isnt that specific. Maybe if you rolled into a chp inspection someone would surely know but there not out working a beat.

Alright! I decided to actually try to really tig weld something! I'm not a pro welder I feel I am adequate..

Round tube is hard at least for me because I can't seem to find a really comfortable position.. I'm working on my consistency also.
