Here ya go,you do the math:thinking:
I got the whole lowdown for hooking a 205 to a 4L80 with pics, both style adapters but I will be back later.

anyone machining these pilots? or would it be easier to slowly file it and keep test fitting? im in the process of removing my 203 /205 ORD doubler from my 4l80e with the 241 adapter and replacing it with a figure 8 np205 adapter, and np205 using a long input on the np205...

so its a direct bolt up???? froma 4x4 4l80e to figure 8 NP205 with short input 32 spline?

Ray

GOt a link for that 300 buck adapter?

my factory adapter is the same length, i will just machine the pilot instead of paying 600 bucks and then install a long input into my 205, thanks for the option though...

it doesnt seem like its any real work other then a very small ammount of grinding.. and swapping an input shaft really i dont know why this AA aluminum adapter would be such a benefit for me? could you explain more then "good luck"?

Ray

just wishing you luck with your project. no need to read anything into it just...good luck

well thank you for wishing me luck.. i used to have a 203 to 205 with ord doubller on back of my 4l80e but now im turning the truck over to the wife to drive.. thats the reason for the 205 anyhow.. trying to get driveable before the snow flys is a challange somtimes.

well we have this super thread on 4l80-e to 205 thread .

so i have now started my own super thread on 4l80-e to 203 range box to 205 tcase doubler kit. lots of pics and info there. and a few parts blow ups and links to good info.
