New job position and promotion has me working 14 average hours, not leaving much time to work on the rig during the week.

Rear pinion was leaking again. Yoke is grooved bad enough to leak. Ordered new yoke, crush sleeve, nut and washer. Should be here by Tuesday.

I did get a chance to add something to my DIY4X dash today.

No pictures but I received a new pinion yoke, washer, nut and seal the other day. Got that installed with new crush sleeve. Should have her back on the road tomorrow barring the rain stays away or minimal.

Hopefully that'll put that to bed for a while!
 
Drive shaft and pinion guard installed. The old girl is on the road again. Had to track down an oil leak that recently came about. This is what I found....oil pressure sender brass fitting next to the distributor/firewall was cracked. Couldnt take it out without breaking it off....





Got the rest out with an extractor....



Made the run to the local Oreilly's....this trip was all idiocy and no entertainment. Guy at the counter was useless. Needless to say, the rig is on the road again.

actually, I think it's just the forum software cuz it's done it to me at times.. and I'm on a PC, not tapiocatalk...
