Set the king pin a 5 degrees caster . my upper links will end up being 34.5” and the lower link will be 33.875” . I’ve pushed the axel 7” forward wheel bar should be right around 117” .

The material that I need to remove to create the link length on the upper link (which is the curved one in the picture Above ) I think I’ll take from the straight area before for the bend where it attaches to the frame . Any input on that from others who have done this would be appreciated as far as where to take material all from one side equally on both ends etc...

I’m a little apprehensive on cutting them now before the motor is in but I think it’ll be fine . My only concern is where the axel travel is and what it will run into but I don’t think I will have an issues there’s a lot of space from axel to motor going full hydro steering thoughts ?

There’s some pics @Fastereddie lol

I wouldn’t cut anything yet. But when you do, I only shortened the frame side of the tube like you were thinking. Plus 7”? I take it you’re not running a full width core support?

The only thing I can think of off hand is moving forward that much, the track bar bracket might end up on a different shaped part of the frame than where it was intended. Might take some massaging.

Even with the motor in I’m still gonna haft to check clearance at that length I’m not gonna go longer if anything I’ll go shorter so I think cutting them shouldn’t be an issue .

I agree but it shouldn’t be a big deal little cut here and there good to go . Lol

Ditching the steering box and core support opens up all kinds of room for activities!

Put the links in last night I’ll post a couple pics later . Kinda trick doing it some off jack stands but got them In by time I did my Axel pushed way hard to the driver side must have came out of adjustment while smacking them in . Played with links and got it really close back to center gonna play with it more when I get home .

I scored a Sawblade Trajan 170. I’ve cut a bunch of stuff with it over the last year, and really like it. I’m running a 8-11 TPI blade, and that’s been a nice upgrade. It’s good value.
