This build was 2 parts 1 i have a truck I made to pretty to wheel so I'm building an ugly one I can actually enjoy. And 2. My cousin has been trying to join us for blazer bash but his truck wont be ready so we are surprising him with this one

I haven't been super active lately because since last September my rigs weren't at my house. Reason for that is I finally built a bigger shop space to work on them! If you follow my IG (@joeymarzo) you have probably seen pictures of the whole building process. Still waiting on my 2 post lift to arrive but I can't wait to dig in and do some major projects soon!

Well this is a new one.... Apparently I managed to crush my sending unit inside my gas tank... This is extra odd because the tank doesn't have a scratch on it.... I pulled the sending unit today because I though the sender was bad I guess technically it is ;).
Looks like I need to reinforce the factory skid plate.

How the heck does that happen? Maybe 31 gal sender in 25 gal tank? I’m sure you would notice that on install. So weird
 
I've noticably caved in the bottom of my tank without and with the skid. I have yet to bend the sender like that.

Nice work!
 
Something else I forgot to mention... This is the 4th fuel pump I have put in this thing and hands down this Delphi premium pump is the quietest pump yet. At first I didn't think it was even working because I didn't get that familiar prime humming I typically hear. I snagged the Delphi unit because at the time it was the only all in one unit I could get my hands on from rock auto without a long wait. Fingers crossed its decent long term.

I've dented my tank in before offroading, I popped it back out with a little air pressure. Yours is so crushed you wouldn't have enough fuel! I bet you are glad you fixed it! I'm surprised the metal tank didn't have any signs of damage.
