PLAN B

This build was 2 parts 1 i have a truck I made to pretty to wheel so I'm building an ugly one I can actually enjoy. And 2. My cousin has been trying to join us for blazer bash but his truck wont be ready so we are surprising him with this one
I know he offers different versions for different winch models, that's the only thing he asked me about when I ordered.

I had to trim a little too, 1" body lift with a 12K engo btw.

@skunked how do you access the handle that engages and releases the winch? I was just doing a dry test fit and it looks like it will be behind my winch when its mounted.

No idea on the Smittybilt stuff but on most Warn low profile winches you can unbolt and turn that end piece to reposition the lever.

I reach under with my monkey arms. Long term plans are to add some linkage either going up and down or out the side of the A-Bomb

Mine was converted to a cable and it's push pull.
I have to ask Aaron about this, how he did it.
It's pretty convenient

I discovered today that i can clock it :) so ill do that. Then figure out where on earth to mount the control box.

My handle faces down so clocking was not the issue. It's just the access is difficult since you cannot reach it from above with the grill in place.

Cool i am going to rotate the one side so i can get this handle on top. I may however mount the control on the back side which would mean i need to reach under to plug it in. But we'll see when i get there.

Id have to fab something up and extend the cables or clock the other side to get it on top and center.

Another idea is rotate it up and use a big metal ziptie or hose clamp and one bolt on the factory bracket.
I dont mind trimming the lower body i just dont reall want to trim the grill. Id also like to avoid rewiring if possible.
