there was a lot of double and triple layers of steel(rust)in the lower corners, but now I got thru, and there´s just the outer panels left, welded in a 3mm thick tab on each side, wich will be the new attach. point for the crossmember,I will add more plate later,to stiffen things up a bit.

also got some 2mm plate/sheet welded to the qrtrs, those will later be welded to the bed floor/crossmember.

got off work 18:15,home about 18:45,jumpstart the mower, mow the lawn, drag out the welder, got the new crossmember in,then the mosquitos got to much for me,so I called it night, phew!!!

I hate mosquitos so much, the little bastards just flat out piss me off.

no mosquitos today, instead it´s way too hot to do anything outside, but I went and got some material for the rear bumper/crossmember,and material for the new rockers.

The progress looks great , can't wait to see this thing with the suspension in and stuffing the 47's :waytogo:

they actually are 3mm,but the diff is minimal.:D
trying to do atleast one little thing every night after work, feels like I´m on a roll, and as long as it keeps rolling, its progressing nicely day by day:thumb:

Nice progress
I think it would be a good idea to even out the transition between the new and the old parts on the bottom of the frame.
that could probably be a weak spot otherwise...:dunno:

You should get one of those party tents to keep the rain from the truck.
I've heard that we'll probably see even more rain in July :frown1:

As usual when it's holiday time:doah:

got that plate welded in about 80%,hopefully I will get the other side cut/cleaned and a plate atleast tacked in tomorrow after work.
