I checked. Only interco tire in my size is the bigger I havewhat no thornbirds ?![]()
I see lol I've just checked all of their tires and others.
They don't look like the siping would work well in the mudthey might look good . but the general feedback was there a dud in the performance sector . = thornturd nickname.
Yea those hercs are gonna be small. The Michelin mil tires I hear are no longer made (as of 2010) so it's all nos or used so no good for the long run. If it wasn't for the balancing issue with interco I'd use their tall skinny tsl swamper. It's 34 x 11 and maybe not as loud as the bogger? I dunno I've never ran them but honestly I almost don't mind the noise.I used to get a Hercules 19.5 for like $1600-1800 for a set of six. Pretty reasonable. They really only come in two sizes, 225/70R19.5 and 245/70R19.5. what about sone big ole Michelin military tires, do they have a size that would work? I have 12.5 tires on 7" wheels on my blazer and they work but some tire shops won't do them.
35x11r16 or narrowerWhat size do you need?

I must've overlooked those, I wonder if they're still a pain to balance if at allhttp://www.intercotire.com/tire/148
35x10x16?
or the SSR's 35x10.5x16

They used to have an odd size tire line, I have a set of 34x10.5x15's on my Blazer but those are bias ply. I had a set of 33x12.5x16 SSR's on a Chevy truck and they were much nicer than the bias tires when cold but the bias were fine once warmed up and the flat spots flexed out. Both howled, depends on your taste, I liked it, both were way better than my buddies Boggers both noise wise and road manners wise.
Keep it up! I love big crew cab dualies. 8.1's and Boggers are just icing on the cake.
A guy I fallow on Instagram has these power kings and payed a fortune to have them tried. I'm not sure what that entails I'm not sure I've ever heard of someone truing them but your right there's not a lot out thereNot many options at all for the duallies unless you go to custom wheels or a set of spacers out back. Having the same issue with my crew cab build.

I didn't have any problem balancing either set, but mind you those were 33x12.5's(radial) and 34x10.5's (bias) not the biggest, gnarliest tires to try to balance. And I rotated religiously, only complaint would be when I daily drove the blazer on the bias tires I could feel the flat spots until they warmed up, about the time it took me to get to the freeway (5 min) but they always smoothed out .I must've overlooked those, I wonder if they're still a pain to balance if at all

I have 2.5" billet steel hub centric spacers to fit these but I am serious wondering if the interco ssr is any better. I just got home with my truck and I didn't mind the noise at all but they hop after sitting for a good 20 25 miles. Maybe I'll have to start another threadHas to do with a tire that's been built out of round (egg shaped). Can't say that screams a 'quality option' if they need that haha.
A good quality set of spacers on the rear is a viable option for a tow rig.
I'm intrigued by the 35 x10. 5 radials I want to know if anyone has run that size on road. I balanced my General 35x12.5r15s on my k5 relatively well and they're notoriously heavy being a desert tire.I didn't have any problem balancing either set, but mind you those were 33x12.5's(radial) and 34x10.5's (bias) not the biggest, gnarliest tires to try to balance. I had the 33x12.5 SSR's on a 92 Z71 that I daily drove for a little less than 2 years, around 50 mi/day and never had an issue with them, and they didn't have the flat spot/warm up issue that the bias TSL's had. I would totally buy them again for a non tow rig. I have a buddy with a Dodge dualley on 35's but I think he has 12.5's and does ridiculous stuff with his truck that I wouldn't recommend for anyone much less your CC.I'm intrigued by the 35 x10. 5 radials I want to know if anyone has run that size on road.
