I thought no more money on carb stuff? I would of bought a high pressure pump and then just regulated it back down to 6 psi. That way later when you need 45 psi you just swap the regulator.

Well I got a wild hair and dropped the tank.. not really that bad with only 1/4 tank.
I found a couple of things.. the tank sock was wasted and falling apart from the inside. I am going to leave it out I think..
also, zero baffles. And no rust (amen!)
The vent I used for the return is not ported into the tank it actually has a baffle inside which could have caused me some grief.
I’ll drill the bad boy out for the 3/8 line and run it!

Ditto. Don't run without a sock. You need that to keep the large garbage out of your fuel system. Your muey expensive fuel pump and filtration will thank you later.
