It starts!!! However, there's no fuel getting to the carb...any body have any tips on getting an electric fuel pump to prime the system?

Make sure gravity is feeding the pump. Electric pumps suck at sucking fuel.
Other simple things... fuel filter going the right direction? lines clear of junk? kink in the line? pump inlet/outlet backwards?
Got it! The outlet peice of the pump came out of its place and so I pushed it back in and worked great! Now it will run for a little while and then die... One fuel line had a small drip from it so I will replace that and see what happens.Don't know where you mounted the pump but as said above, electric pumps don't suck well. Pump should be below fuel level in an ideal world, mounted close to the tank and fed with big lines.
Put your air hose in the tank and seal the opening with a rag and give it a really fast shot of air while the pump is running, you are looking to put a few pounds of positive pressure in the tank only and push some fuel to the pump. Once it has fuel it may just keep it's prime and be fine.
I love the use of the list. I always seem to add more than subtract though...
Lol yup. That's why I have a "needs" side and "wants" side. I had to make a list! There was so much to do that I couldn't think straight and knew that if I didn't note everything down that I would forget to do something...I also needed to plan for stuff I needed to order to make sure it made it in time.Yeah, crossing off stuff is very satisfying.
