PLAN B

This build was 2 parts 1 i have a truck I made to pretty to wheel so I'm building an ugly one I can actually enjoy. And 2. My cousin has been trying to join us for blazer bash but his truck wont be ready so we are surprising him with this one
It will get you a little more clearance at the corners and then you can trim off the fender fangs on the front.

I guess they dont do safety inspections here anymore... i just need a place to hang my plates. Remember i have to drive this places. I was looking at it from a i dont want to kill anyone or get pulled over standpoint

And with how rusty this thing is if i take metal off i do worry about it falling apart ;)

I would run something on the front if you plan on road tripping it. I imagine 98% of police officers are going to find that unacceptable.

I think that a stock bumper, trimmed, is better to use for the braille moments, than just the sheetmetal.
I am planning on using mine until I get something with better protection.
And I agree that CK5 can change us!

Any of you have first hand experience with a spray or roll on bedliner?

Im wondering what would give me a really nice heavy texture

I know the herculiner stuff has some good texture to it. Not sure I'd trust it as an actual bedliner just cuz most diy ones are not very thick but it worked real good inside my enclosed service truck I used to have.

Im looking for something for the rockers (lower 12") of this truck to cover some ugly.

Another question,
I have the diy4x steering box brace but looking at the truck i cant see how it would fit on there, this truck has a cooler hooked to the power steering and it looks like the lines get in the way, anyone else running a steering brace on a vehicle with the steering cooler?

If it's cooler lines they're low pressure and easy to extend/move out of the way.

I rolled the lower portion of mine initially and now I just touch it up with spray liner. I used duplicolors kit and for the most part its held up for about 15 years now.
