PLAN B

This build was 2 parts 1 i have a truck I made to pretty to wheel so I'm building an ugly one I can actually enjoy. And 2. My cousin has been trying to join us for blazer bash but his truck wont be ready so we are surprising him with this one
So, are you saying you have a hardline down on the frame in the way of the ORD steering brace?

@72gmck5 it has two 3/4" (ish) steel braded lines that go through the crossmember. There is a slot cut out that looks factory so i assumed it was a factor package.

Because of where the slot is it puts both hoses in the way of where the brace needs to run.

The truck isnt at home or id take pics for you guys

Some of the trucks had factory oil coolers that ran through a slot in the crossmember...
Yep! I forgot about the engine oil cooler!
The power steering cooler was a few loops of tubing fastened to the bottom of the radiator support.

Im not sure who to mention this to but i was just speaking to the guys from diy4x and they said nobody has reached out to them to be a sponsor for this years blazer bash... that seems odd.

So im looking at 40s, what are the minimum requirements to run them.
I will cut for them, i have dana 60 ff14b, 513 gears, and a steering box brace. Do i NEED anything else?

Think my old stock tbi 350 will push them? I bet my engine will like them better on the freeway, right now im screaming at freeway speeds
