I would do a doubler before I did coils, just don't ask Eric he will tell you coils should be first.

I found a 241c thats pulled but it has the electric speedometer. Is there an easy way to change that or should i keep looking for one out of an 89? Anyone have a clue what spline i have/need? Mines an 88 with the 700r4 and 208

Found another one in slc, its out of a 89 but was hooked to a manual trans. Any idea if that would work?

Still very desirable. Pick it up and swap input gears.
I swapped input gears on mine, super easy.
I might have a 27 spline input I could swap with you.
In the meantime grab both the electronic one and the 89.
I would even grab the adapter if you end up wanting a manual.
I have 3 sm465 32 splines but only one 241 adapter.
ok i will work on getting one or both. the one for $100 is in price utah so that makes me less excited about getting it 
does it matter if its drivers or passenger drop? can you just clock it one way or the other? I am seeing lots online but most are saying drivers drop.
