Did some fitting on the sender and swapped in the ep381 pump. I'm confident in the earls tube adapters not leaking as they fit as good as any aluminum or copper tube I've used. Now I just have to figure out how to fit the center vent so I can transfer to it from the other saddle tank. It's close to 3/16.

That looks good...and very familiar :waytogo:

How did you do your cross over for your pass tank? I have about 8"worth of - 6an fittings strung together including a "y" to double female swivel to double male fuel check valve to - 6an hose end. It's a lot of stuff to hang in three foot of transfer.

I don't remember what @Kay86K5 did, but you could maybe do it with a -6AN bulkhead fitting so you could mount it in the tank where convenient.

The other thing I've thought about is plumbing it into the filler hose. They have adapters that fit radiator hose with 3/8NPT fittings; isn't that close to the diameter of fuel filler hose? I mean isn't fuel filler hose close to the diameter of radiator hose. The adapter I have fits 1-1/4" radiator hose.

It's really close in diameter its definitely an option and 3/8 npt could be adapted to - 6an. I trying to do this as sanitary as possible and also have this ironed out before I dig in

Mine connects at the little overflow port right next to the main filler hose port on the driver tank. If you look back in my build thread (link in sig) I have some pictures of how I did it. Just some simple fuel line hose...don't remember the size I used, but its nothing fancy, that's for sure. And just using a stock (for my truck), TBI pump to pump the fuel over...pump is hooked to it's own toggle switch to turn on and off whenever I want to transfer fuel over

I was thinking of doing that but I would then lose the vent for the driver tank and I wouldn't be able to use - 6an fittings and I'm ocd like that haha

There are filler hose T fittings out there for some diesel truck return line add-ones. Can’t remeber what size hose they were for but I do remember seeing them.

Yeahhhh... anyway i got 1.. bit dirty..im now lookin it over. Motor..harness that was hacked.. pcm and pedal... 145k miles.. $1200 shipped to my door
Pull mine from an entire truck 50k more miles but I got everything including the Allison. If you need the harness I'm having Howell take the transmission harness out of it and they are making me a new one with fans, egr/evap delete, and two obd2 ports for the Dakota dash. It may be a month or so tho

The driver tank is still vented (with the vent line off the sending unit that goes to the charcoal canister under the hood). The only thing that port is for is really an overflow for the filler tube. I have had zero issues with the tanks venting correctly with it hooked up like that.

Now if you are OCD and want to use -6an fitting and lines just for the little crossover tube for your transfer pump...then I can't help you there :rotfl:...cause to me I didn't care and was looking for more function of the transfer/storage tank then making it look pretty, haha
