Did you get the speed daddy headers too? They do look nice after a little heat. I’m going to scuff mine and do a clearcoat header paint on them. Nice blued satin finish will look nice.
Good thinking on the magnum rather than the adapters.

Same as speed daddy if they aren't. Nice polish on them and they're really nice for the $. Why would you clear coat them if they're 304 ss? Isn't that the point? The fender well headers on the blazer did brown where the mud flung on them

Because I have my doubts about the actual quality of the stainless. Lol

205 is a easy unit to do . :waytogo:
This will be my second but I did good on the older non synchro in my first Gen so I hope it's not much different. Aside from my idiotic oil leaks I'm above average mechanically hahahaha I did notice there's some difference outward like the rails/linkage and there's what I'm guessing is a shift indicator sensor on the one rail the rest seems the same

Surprised by the delivery of my Howell harness today! I hope the shipped the ecm separately as it's not in the box.

Did sending your harness in to be reworked save any money or have any advantage? I have an 8.1 I pulled from a G-van that is going to end up in my crew cab. I have everything from the donor. Since mine was a van harness I wasn't sure about wiring lengths or if it was worth it to rework. Howell doesn't list it on the site, just the stand alone harness and reprograming.
