Did sending your harness in to be reworked save any money or have any advantage? I have an 8.1 I pulled from a G-van that is going to end up in my crew cab. I have everything from the donor. Since mine was a van harness I wasn't sure about wiring lengths or if it was worth it to rework. Howell doesn't list it on the site, just the stand alone harness and reprograming.
I had a truck harness that had the Allison harness in with it so really they only separated that harness from the old one $100. The harness otherwise is completely new with x2 obd2/can plugs added so I can plug the Dakota dash interface and retain the under dash plug. Also had electric fans added just in case I want them down the road. They did a really nice job, everything is labeled even cruise control etc I'm not dreading setup kinda lookin forward to it. It was 700$ so I'll leave the decision to you. I'm glad I did it so far
 
Big brown showed up with some drivetrain jewelry! Magnum is here! All the while I'm just prepping the 8.1L. Have a spark plug that was never installed all the way so I now need to chase it. I'm also drilling the heads for the new m10x1.50 exhaust studs as well as pulling this rear main seal. I guess you could say things are gettin pretty serious... :saweet:
