Did you ever see the SubUrban Gorilla build on Power Nation back in the day? I know they ran a 205 with an Allison behind a Dmax but I cant remember if it was twin sticked or had a doubler or maybe just stock style. I can't get to the vids on YouTube on my work computer.
 
last 1 peice shaft i had made with spicer parts and 1350 joints with slip on shaft and thick wall 3.5" tube was around 350ish from my local shop . same guys has been there doing them for over 10 years and does a great job .

Yea i have a pretty good shop not too far from me the rear most shaft i put new spicer u joints in myself
 
Never ever use Sadler powertrain in Cedar Rapids Iowa. You guys make my driveshaft work look even more pricey! I had the one for my 78 shorted 3” and between that and two U-joints it took them a week and $275 :angry1:

:yikes: wow they hosed you good .

my shop is labor only for shorten / 1 small cut fee / install is same price as joint . then weld / balance same price point . i could get a shorten done in/out for under 100 bucks . if i pay cash and dont need a slip its less . . . :whistle:
