Maybe front squirter too big
Might be now for sure.. with the reo pump and 31 squirter.. it’s not popping like it’s lean at any point in the throttle.. I’ll experiment with that also. Need to weld a bung for my wideband to see for sure.

What carb do you have exactly? Unless its a vacuum secondary, pink pump cam all the way on a double pumper, no puny red pump cams.

I have a heavily modified 700DP. It has an extra discharge tube in the rear under the butterflies for fuel under low velocity events(setup for a transbrake car) works really good btw
I use the pink cam in front and the orange or blue cam out back.

If you don't have the HP center section upgrade I highly recommend it, no choke tower, better flow, and adjustable air bleeds. We've found significant gains using them vs the std main body..

Lol I drilled my main body for adjustable bleeds, cut off the choke horn but the hp is far easier and billet!! We’ll see how it runs, I wasn’t planning on spending money on a carb because efi is the future at this point..

I hear you there, I used to love tinkering with Holleys to get the most out of them for relatively cheap. But as time moves on its much easier to tap some buttons on my laptop hooked to the Dominator ECU than it is to be spilling fuel while you change main jets. Plus the EFI doesn't care if you are seriously inclined offroad or pulling Gs on a launch, etc, it just works. Also, although nothing replaces good old fashion troubleshooting and trials, it sure is easier if you have a metric sh!t-ton of data to reference.

That’s where I am at also.. plus the aspect of it being safer for the whole range of rpm and load is easier.. and I think I can dial it quicker now than I could before.. funny that the efi taught me a lot the carb didn’t and now I think I could apply some of that knowledge into my carb tuning.. which is still fun.. it’s part of it.

And bumpstop day!
It has racing rubber bumpstops from ruff stuff so it’s send it certified right lmao

Last trip I was listening to my cage bang around in back because I haven’t gotten to the whistle strips yet. I want the visible plate on the cage to be nice, well as nice as I can get it anyway.
Floors I don’t care about and just need the banging to stop. And these floors were no flat areas so I made due.
I got some sheet metal for the front area next to the seats.

Friggen had carb issues all day.. something isn’t right.. I think I either popped a PV or the additional timing and resultant changes with the cam etc have leaned it way out. Weird because it didn’t feel close to lean the last trip..
