Are those heims going to bind up on the up/down swing? Thought you'd want to mount them vertical instead of horizontal..?

It should be fine with the high misalignment spacers and the angle I put the brackets. I am going to have to trim the body mounts though.

I hand cut the gussets out today with a plasma. Other stuff I have designed on CAD and had a plasma table cut it out.

Nope. I tossed it. Sorry it's not pretty. This truck is not going to be the prettiest blazer ever made. And I'm okay with that. I'm just trying to get to BB. I promised friends and family and have a lot of planning into this trip. Just getting pretty stressed out cuz it's coming down to the wire. I am going to stop posting now. It wasn't about being pretty, it's about the gusset tearing at the middle.. Jagged edges will allow cracks to start. That's all dude. Lighten up. Drink a beer and don't take this stuff so seriously.. You'll never get out alive.

Grinders are a must. I have 2 of those cheap ass ones. One has been doing battle for over 4 years and going strong.

Use the grinder dude. What thickness is that material for your shock mount? It could be the pics, but it looks very thin.
Also that gusset should be more of a trapezoid then a triangle.

Get a drag tip, and a ruler.
I cut every single sign or panel I make with a hand plasma and a ruler and it makes perfectly straight cuts.
