That's how to get a good deal on a parts truck....go when its cold out. I`ve done that! Wish you where close to me, I see lots of good front end parts for my 02.
Yea I have essentially the entire drive line from the tcase out for sale and some odds n ends like fenders and a cab with a clean title, I honestly can't believe they parted it out running and complete

As it turns out I still have 4 chrome steelies! One was on the rear inner so that's polished and back on the front. They're "truck pretty" so they're not perfect but still cool now I got my tire guy tryna find me radials in this size so I don't have to tare up these almost new boggers

I think you have a good point about waiting to ditch the body lift, until you see how the engine and transmission fits. The Crew Cab looks totally bad ass. I bet the neighbors are looking at the crew cab, and thinking that thing is a monster.

And having feelings of inadequacy

Luckily I have some cool neighbors that think it's bad ass and one of them is actually housing my K5 in his garage till I get some things ironed out with the dually. He has a garage and doesn't even use it!?! Drives me up a wall so I'll put my junk in it hahaha

Just went through this thread. The lifted dually is one of the best looks these 3+3's can wear. Stoked to see another crew getting 8.1 swapped.

One of the worst pans I've been in. Now this is a bit of a hail Mary but the truck barely moves and pumps fluid out the dip stick but it was 18 degrees out and I did drive it the first time I saw it. It shifted through all gears but it ran so terribly I didn't put it under any load. Fluid smells burnt... It's my hope that the fluid is just not getting through the filter. Basically I just need to be able to move the truck till I put the 8.1L in. Well see tomorrow
